Evan Kaplan, OD
Dr. Evan Kaplan has successfully counseled and managed thousands of laser vision correction, cataract, cross-linking and ICL patients. Dr. Kaplan works closely with our surgeons in determining patient candidacy as well as calculating surgical outcomes. Dr. Kaplan is an Associate Clinical Professor in the Clinical Science department at the SUNY College of Optometry. In addition to his current position, Dr. Kaplan has served as a Clinical Instructor, Chief of Contact Lens Specialty Service, Medical Director of the Laser Eye Institute and Section Chief of the Cornea and Contact Lens Service. He received his BA from Washington University in St. Louis, and both his OD and MS from SUNY Optometry. Dr. Kaplan is also on the Attending Staff at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, where he serves as the Director of Contact Lens Services.
